Behind The Scenes
When we went for a two-day trip to Antwerp, we never expected it to snow, so we came completely unprepared for this.
This has put my camera through some tough times filming in the falling snow, it may not have been the smartest plan to risk it, but the footage did look better than we predicted. I presume that by putting a coat over the camera, luckily it still works.
To finish the story, we needed someone who wanted to play the role of the girl Oscar sings about.
That's why we found Leeloo Love who was down to play that role.
Many of the images have been taken very literally, what Oscar sang in the song was literally reproduced in the video.
Normally we film this by showing the symbolism of what he wants to say, but we wanted to take this music video differently and make every sentence clear to the viewer.
